Double V Set In Sleeve Juarez Cotton

Today, loopwheel fleece produced on traditional loopwheel knitting machines—now found only in Wakayama, Japan—offers the same soft, full-bodied texture and exceptional comfort that defined American sweatshirts of the 1940s and 1950s.

These machines produce only about 10 meters of fabric per day, an extremely inefficient process by modern standards. Yet it is precisely this slow production that makes such a unique and luxurious fabric possible.In our pursuit of the ideal cotton for sweatshirts, we ultimately arrived at Juarez Cotton from Mexico. As before, the fabric is knitted using yarn-dyed cotton, allowing you to fully appreciate the natural texture and feel of the raw cotton itself.

The design features a set-in sleeve construction with double V-gussets, while the garment is assembled using Union Special flat-seamer stitching. The ribbing uses random needle-out rib, and the gussets are constructed with inserted double V panels. Around the neckline, a two-needle swing machine is used for additional reinforcement.

Every detail is carefully executed, resulting in a truly exceptional sweatshirt crafted with uncompromising attention to detail.
