Sustainability is Central to GANNI's Mission

At the core of GANNI’s mission is sustainability. The brand is committed to reducing its environmental footprint by using eco-friendly materials like organic cotton, recycled fabrics, and other innovative textiles.

GANNI is also transparent about its production processes, ensuring that consumers are informed about the ethical standards behind each product. By focusing on reducing waste and promoting circular fashion, the brand is setting a new standard for the fashion industry.

Circular Fashion: GANNI’s Commitment to a Greener Future

GANNI is a strong advocate for circular fashion, aiming to reduce waste by recycling, upcycling, and reselling its garments. Through its "GANNI Repeat" initiative, the brand encourages consumers to buy second-hand or recycle old pieces, further reducing the need for new materials. This circular model ensures that clothes live longer, promoting a more sustainable approach to style.

Not only does GANNI encourage circular fashion to reduce waste, the brand has been working hard to move away from conventional materials and switch to alternatives that are certified as recycled or organic, or ensure high animal welfare through their Preferred Materials and Fabrics of the Future programs.

Innovative Collaborations and Sustainable Designs

GANNI doesn’t just stop at using eco-friendly materials—it also collaborates with other sustainable brands to expand its green initiatives. Collaborations with eco-conscious footwear brands like New Balance have allowed GANNI to produce stylish, sustainable shoes made from organic cotton and wild rubber. These partnerships highlight GANNI’s dedication to sustainability without compromising on fashion-forward designs.

The brand's commitment to sustainable fashion doesn’t end with its materials; GANNI continues to innovate its production processes to minimize waste and improve efficiency. By focusing on local production and reducing its carbon footprint, GANNI sets itself apart as a leader in sustainable fashion.

GANNI’s Future: Leading the Ethical Fashion Movement

Looking to the future, GANNI is continuing to push the boundaries of sustainable fashion. The brand has set ambitious goals to reduce its carbon emissions, increase its use of sustainable materials, and maintain transparency in its operations. As the fashion industry becomes more eco-conscious, GANNI remains committed to making a positive impact while staying true to its signature style.

GANNI is transparent with materials, production, and their carbon footprint, publishing Responsibility Reports that dive deep into their commitment for sustainability. You can follow along with their Responsibility Reports here.

Social Impact through Fashion

GANNI approaches social impact through these key areas: Living Wages, Supply Chain, and Accountability. The brand aims to be paying all contractual suppliers a living wage and embedding ethical considerations into the core of their operations and ensuring the same standards in their entire supply chain.

GANNI persistently refines their sourcing strategy, collaborating with suppliers to proactively address and improve working conditions.

Materials Matter

Since 2019, GANNI has been working hard to move away from conventional materials and switch to alternatives that are certified as recycled, organic, or ensure high animal welfare.

The brand extensively uses organic and certified materials like organic wool, certified alpaca and organic cotton. GANNI uses a wide range of recycled materials like recycled cotton, leather, polyester, polyamide, and nylon.

Planning agressive cuts to their carbon emissions, GANNI has introduce their Fabrics of The Future initiative – set up to research, develop and invest in innovative materials that are paving the way for the future of fashion. The materials developed in this program aim to replace commonly used unsustainable materials and promote alternatives that our beneficial for the environment.

The Fabrics of the Future initiative has invested and helped develop materials like Ohoskin, Celium, and Vegea are alternatives to leather and virgin leather. As fashion moves towards sustainability, GANNI is a leader in investing in new eco-friendly materials for the future.

Modern and Sustainable Style

With every new collection, GANNI proves that sustainability doesn’t mean sacrificing style. By choosing GANNI, consumers can enjoy the best of both worlds—fashion-forward designs that are as kind to the planet as they are to their wardrobe.

As the brand continues to evolve, GANNI is setting the bar for a future where fashion and sustainability coexist harmoniously. Whether you're a loyal fan or discovering the brand for the first time, GANNI offers a chic, sustainable solution to the modern wardrobe.
