DENIM DAY 3: WRAP UP - Danali

DENIM DAY 3: WRAP UP

Wow… THANK YOU

To everyone who contributed to our October Denim Drive - we brought in 191 pairs of jeans in total that will be donated to those in need - Because of you.

We have decided to divide the donations between three amazing organizations:

  • Main Street Project (75 Martha St/661 Main Street) - ‘A safe place of respite, shelter and support with dignity and without judgement…Serving the needs of Winnipeg’s most vulnerable residents since 1972, Main Street Project offers programming and services to help our community members build stability’

  • Resource Assistance for Youth, Inc / RaY (125 Sherbrook Street) - ‘A non-profit street-level agency working with street-entrenched and homeless youth up to the age of 29…RaY is non-judgemental and non-partisan employing a harm reduction approach to all interactions with youth in need’

  • Centre Flavie-Laurent (450 Provencher Boulevard) - ‘Provides comfort and support to the impoverished and the vulnerable by distributing at no cost material goods, including clothing, furniture and household items’

A reminder: We happily accept your donations of any-kind year-round. We are constantly coming up with ways to assist our community, especially in these colder months. We invite you - at any time - to bring donations into our shop and we will distribute accordingly, on your behalf.
